Product Description:
The Model FM.220741 is a precision-machined replacement bevel shield (shield cup/deflector cap) designed for use with Hypertherm® HyPerformance® HPR series plasma cutting systems—specifically configured for bevel-cutting applications on HPR260XD, and also compatible with HPR130XD, HPR400XD, and HPR800XD when using the appropriate bevel torch head and consumable stack-up. Manufactured from high-durability copper alloy or copper-chrome composite with an anti-spatter profile, this shield protects the torch tip assembly while directing the shielding gas envelope to maintain arc stability during angled (bevel) cuts.
Engineered to OEM dimensional and thermal specifications, the FM.220741 ensures proper seating with the nozzle retaining cap (e.g., 220896 for HPR260 Bevel) and maintains correct standoff geometry—critical for achieving consistent bevel cut quality, minimal dross, and extended consumable life in structural steel and pipe/plate bevel preparation.
