Product Description:

The Model FM.220180 is a precision-manufactured replacement swirl ring (gas vortex generator) designed for use with Hypertherm® HyPerformance® HPR series plasma cutting systems, including HPR130XD, HPR260XD, HPR400XD, and HPR800XD. Molded from high-temperature-resistant engineering polymer (polyimide/ceramic-composite), it features accurately angled internal vanes that impart a controlled swirling motion to the plasma gas—ensuring uniform gas distribution, a stabilized and constricted arc column, and optimized cut quality at low amperages (30–45 Amps).

Engineered to OEM dimensional and flow-dynamic specifications, this component guarantees proper seating within the torch head, promotes even wear of the electrode and nozzle, and contributes to consistent pilot arc transfer. It provides a cost-effective, high-quality alternative to genuine Hypertherm parts for fine-cut and thin-material applications.
