1. Assembly:

• Install the swirl ring into the base of the retaining cap.

• Insert the nozzle into the front, ensuring it seats properly against the swirl ring.

• Insert the electrode into the torch body until it clicks into contact with the swirl ring.

• Screw the assembled retaining cap (420156) onto the torch body. Hand-tighten only. Do not use wrenches, as overtightening can damage the threads.

• Finally, screw the appropriate front attachment (Drag Shield 420172 or Shield Cup 028374) onto the retaining cap.
